ABOUT
Matthias H. Risse is a photographer and visual artist
born in 1980 and raised in Germany.
VITA
After his a-level degree, Matthias studied with the joint program of computer & media science and art at the Dresden University of Technology and the Academy of the Visual Arts Dresden. He has been working as a freelance designer and web-developer since before he graduated high-school. His clients and brand experience include a variety of national and international companies, agencies and universities.
In 2006 he decided to take his education a little further and more focused on photography and the visual arts. He did so in Germany as well as in the United Kingdom at the University of the Arts London (London College of Communication). He is about to start his graduation project in photography & media-arts. If luckily, he will graduate at the Department of Art & Design at the University of Applied Sciences Bielefeld in early 2011.
Matthias is currently based in Bielefeld and Berlin. He works wherever his projects take him.

He has been a founding member of part of the visual artist collectives Park Studios and Konsumer. The later authors experimental realtime generated visuals and performs them live at clubs and concerts.
