“Entrückte Landschaften, nicht verortbar und uneindeutig in ihrer Zeitlichkeit. Möglichkeitsräume, die eine Hoffnung auf ein unerreichbares Ideal und Größe erahnen lassen. Man fühlt sich an Ansichten der Romantik erinnert, an Nebel, Meere und die Einzelnen. In den Raum blicken, eine Sphäre öffnen, die erhöht und mächtig scheint. Der Mensch wird zu einem Detail, hinterlässt nur Spuren in einem monumentalen, idealisierten Raum. Die Landschaft filetiert und auf ihr Wesentliches zurückgeführt. In der Beziehung von Mensch und Raum deutet sich der Wunsch an, sich die Umgebung einzuverleiben und von ihr gestaltet zu werden. Es bleibt das Handeln des Menschen in der Landschaft, sein Verschwinden und die Sehnsucht.”
